ReplyDeleteuhhh,first, run the warcraft in windows mode. Second, run the mouse capturer and right click on it, choose specify window(the top option) then click on the warcraft. Don't for get to press F7 after that (press F7 again to pause the WMC).

ReplyDeleteWell, ummm, right click on the warcraft 3 shortcut. Choose properties. Then go to the shortcut tab. You will see target. Type -window at the end of it. So it should look like this (sort of) : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe" -window . After that click apply and ok. Hope this one works for you. Remember, just type -window, since the rest of the code is depend on where you install it. Also you have to do it on each shortcut if you have both original and expansion.

However, for some odd reason, there's a tendency for warcraft III to disappear, and crash with no error messages or anything. At one point, I'm playing dota, and then all of a sudden the screen dissapears. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?

ReplyDeleteDid you guys put the WMC in the same folders with the Warcraft? If yes, move the WMC to somewhere else. If you are on vista, run it with admin previllege. Hope this can help you guys.
ReplyDeleteif it says click ok to terminate, its cuz you don't have the .net framework. i'm not sure what version you need to make it run but downloading .net framework 3.5 will make it work guaranteed

ReplyDeleteErm, you are incorrect. WMC DOES work on W7. I'm running it right now, on both W7 Home Premium, as well as W7 Pro

ReplyDeleteIt is necessary to right click the program or shortcut to and select the [Compatibility] tab and enable [Run as Administrator].
