Official DotA 6.60 Map | Dota 6.60 Changelogs | Dota Allstars 6.60 - I know lots of Dota Fans are waiting for Dota 6.60 or Dota Allstars 6.60 map which is not released by IceFrog. Hope Dota 6.60 to be released soon. But the good news is that the beta version of Dota 6.60 got leaked. Also there are few updates about Dota 6.60 from Icefrog, in which he revealed some changes coming in Dota 6.60. I think that is enough for those who are still waiting for 6.60.

Hello everyone! This is Icefrog here.
Thanks everyone for being so patient! Don't worry, DotA 6.60 is almost out, please continue waiting - I want this release to be very sucessful, and would hate to disappoint you guys :) Please give me your support, and understand the difficulties of balancing new heroes.
I feel really bad for keeping you guys waiting, but I don't really want to reveal anything about my release until the end - to me it's like a work of art :) Please visit www.icefrog.com for any future updates! I know I haven't been updating recently, but that's because I've been very busy, and I'm really trying to post something within the next few days to keep you guys updated.
Finally, here's a treat for you guys, in my apology for taking so long on this release, some things I can promise you'll see:
-MUCH more recoding and optimizations! You'll be running DotA at up to 25% higher frame rates! (As reported by some of my beta-testers)
-A new game mode :D
-Reworked rune system
-Some major gameplay changes regarding the laning phase, gold distribution, teamwork, etc - this will make the game faster paced, less farming, and more of the team battles we love DotA for! This is obviously one of the biggest changes that is causing many balance issues and delaying our release, but it's worth it!
-Minor terrain tweaks. Everyone loves more juke spots and cosmetics :)
-A few reworked hero abilities. Don't think I don't notice that many heroes have very similar playstyles! I will try to rework heroes one by one, as I have been doing the past couple of versions. Stay updated on the official dota forums, and you might get a hint on who these will be =D
Finally, know that no matter how long and hard my beta-testers work, we can't find all the bugs and balance issues alone - it will be up to you guys! Developing DotA is a community effort, which is why I love you guys so much. If you don't like our release, please be patient and give as much feedback as you can, so we can make DotA as enjoyable for everyone as we can!

That's good news if there are a lot of changes, i think that some changes have to be made, especially balance issues. A new hero is always hard to think about, to balance and make it unique. Thank you very much for the hard work.
PS:I hope there will be a french version of dota soon, just to take a look 'cause most of us can fully understand english.

hopefully this would make people actually fight as a team, instead of farming even more, or instead of buffing the item dependent heros to a point its insane. sounds like some serious balancing, im really excited for this! thanks everyone that worked and still working on it.

Damn , DotA's gonna be like FARMING RACE...there's this item..Quelling Blade..200g cost ->40% more dmg to creeps/neutrals TOO FARMY ///(20% range , 40% melee) ...Oh and that's not it...combine Quelling Blade with few more items and make The Leveler (real item in new map) it has demolish spell (40% more dmg to buildings -> melee ;20% range ) and 60% dmg to creeps/neutrals (60% melee,30%range )...Guess dota's gonna be ****ed up for a while untill we get used to it...now keep waiting go on miniclip and play FeatherGirl ...and don't forget to wank !

Question: Why don't all hosts use the -so mode (switch enable mode.) You say it's been disabled for a reason, you say it's unbalanced or something, but seriously... how EXACTLY can the switch system be a bad thing? Why don't all hosts enable it? They all say "It's been removed for a reason" but what exactly is this reason.
