IceFrog has given a sneak peak of two new features upcoming in DotA 6.67. The first one is observers related so called, Zoom mode which will help spectators to observe a large area during battlefield. The other one is Capture point mode which is basically a fun mode. Hey guys, I just want to share some small information about the upcoming patch. It is too early for me to give a complete list of features or changes to expect, so I'll just be sharing a couple of small features as a sneak peak.
First, I've implemented a zoom mode for observers to allow spectators and shout casters to see a larger part of the battlefield rather than the current view.
The second is a Capture Point action style game mode. It is designed to be a short fun mode with lots of movement and action, as a break from the usual stuff. There will be many capture points (6+) spread around the map that, when captured, will provide various auras (Damage, Armor, Gold, Regen, Movement Speed, etc) for your team depending on which one is captured. The Capture Points all spawn after the first 10 minutes of the game. You gain control of a CP by standing on it for a certain amount of time (the more allies the faster). Capture Points can always be reclaimed by the enemy team after it is taken or it can also be interrupt during the capturing process itself. Keep in mind that all the mechanics and numbers are not final yet.
These are just two misc things in 6.67 that I wanted to share with you guys. There will of course be more work done on improving the current content with balancing and misc features. If there is something specific you want to see, don't hesitate to let me know.
I really like the Capture Point Mode, it kinda reminds me of Team Fortress. I'm very excited to see this mode in DotA Allstars 6.67 . Imagine capturing an item which gives aura bonuses to your team which helps in your victory ^^

SIMPLY AWESOME!!
The basic idea behind this (fun) mode is making the game faster and more action packed. People always wanted competitive games to get smaller with more action. So I genuinely think this has the potential to go Competitive some day.
And yeah, maybe this is more like an indirect buff to gankers rather than pushers as enemy dead == no enemy capture anywhere.

switch to be permanent and so command to toggle it off... just an opinion coz there is alot of quiters where i play and alot of host that forget so command at the start.
please change visual effect of aiustha skill... example:
1st skill: change the visual eefect to green
2nd skill: like holy persuasion but change the colour to green
3rd skill: the wisps sprinkle green pollen around aiustha
\4th skill: the spear sprinkle green pollen on its path

i just wish icefrog will do something about the maphack in dota, it's not fun anymore beacuse of the maphack users, whatever mode icefrog comes up with, aslong as there is maphack, it's no fun.

For the next version put a mode where couriers fight and can use items also give them some weak attack and skills and a new upgrade for the courier only available for this mode, the new courier should be like a combat courier that has like 20 manaor something, and in this mode dont put heroes it since they can easily kill couriers and make roshan weaker for the mode. I thought of this when i got bored with the heroes and desided to use a courier. If you ever think of doing this, thanks a lot ^_^
lol remove the -unlock or maybe change it. Coz, a lot of noobs are typing "-unlock" early after a player leaves a game. So it is impossible to balance the game because the other players can't switch anymore.
Would like Icefrog to make sure assist(s) get a portion of the gold obtained from the Killer's kill gold which is sort of fair so noobs cant say anything bout ks or not helping in a way in which they have assisted but only gained exp thanks

Plz icefrog just change the main terrain it gets tired for many version's is the same map plzz change the terrain and put new fog EVERY MUST BE NEW :)
I would rather see a new and improved terrain than this new modes, but it will be a nice to try it if its worth playing.
