When GoD-Tony refused the proposal of developing AI after the retirement of BuffMePlz, the community was searching for the person who could continue the development of AI. Now, IceFrog has found a new AI Map Developer in task who's name is Harreke. He'll be following the BuffMePlz work and planning to release DotA 6.67c AI soon!
Here is what IceFrog posted on PlayDotA Forums:
First I want to thank BMP for all his work on the AI maps. He has worked hard to make DotA players happy, so please show him your appreciation.
As some of you might know, BMP has retired from AI map development, and has finally located a successor to continue the development; Harreke. Harreke has been researching AI map technology for a while now and has been following BMP's work. He is dedicated to building the new AI maps based on BMP's code and to expand the map development process to allow for faster updates for future versions.
He expects to release DotA 6.67c AI soon and then prepare for the DotA 6.68 AI map.
Harreke has been researching on DotA AI Maps for a long time. He has also released some chinese version of DotA AI maps. We hope he will be good as BuffMePlz was. So let's welcome Harreke & wish him luck :)

Hope you do the best you can, oh, just another suggestion.. um could you make the ai abit smarter like not running a straight way, let them run like we human player's if thats possible.. it sounds impossible though for ai running away from battle..

There's no 6.67c Ai coz it'll jump str8 to 6.68 Ai...
I think Harreke need a lot of time bcoz he said tht he need to change the AI command... I'm not really good in programming.. But they talk about JASS and sunthing like that..

Ur AI map rocks.. but there's a little problem.. if I double-clicked the TP which automatically going home just teleported any where in the map just near the base. And I'm using 1.24d and got FATAL ERROR..
