DotA 6.72 is going to be the next map of IceFrog's DotA series. In the recent versions, there were many new heroes introduced as well as few items. DotA 6.72 is likely to be another balance patch like DotA 6.71. IceFrog may introduce some items and gameplay changes from community suggestions.

Update #2: Meepo Aghanim's Upgrade (13th April 2011):
IceFrog has shared an image of Dota 6.72 Beta on his PlayDota profile page. In this image we can see Geomancer ultimate is having a bug which allows him to carry more than one Aghanim Scepters ultimate upgrades.
Meepo Rebellion PartyNice to see Meepo getting his ultimate buffed in this patch. We hope that others hero do get balanced/buffed as well.

DotA is almost reaching the maximum map size limit of Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne which is 8MB. The last v6.71 was 7.33MB so, it probably means that IceFrog may release couple versions more with new content before DotA 2 goes live.
Anyway, this page is created for DotA 6.72 & AI. Feel free to share your views and suggestions for the this upcoming map!

Actually if you want the map to have less size you should remove some useless trees,water,rocks and something else.You can add small neutral creeps with the same stats(take's less space) and things like this

Mirana like melee... Can heal but channeling.. Can clone hero and first skill. Passive aura armor on the 3rd skill last skill is avatar but dereaceas armor can combine with the heal..

For these guy,Your stupid. Tsk2,What is DotA whitout the old heroes?. DotA have been famous because of them,If you remove some of them,Its like you don't look back at the past and,its less enjoyable to play DotA if the other heroes are remove. What about the profetional gaming?,Like CM mode,If you remove for example,Rylai or the other useless hero at the public games for others,How can you full fill the support role without those heroes. Same as the other roles. And come to think of it,Do you think DotA community would like your suggestion just to maintain the size?,Blizzard would probably do something about the map size. No need to remove heroes.
But if ice frog would do that,I'll suggest that he remove Invoker,All of us know that kael have too much KB size,That's why he causes some logs.
I'm expecting at this map to remake some heroes that is not being useful in many times. For example,Goblin Techies and Zeus. I know techies have own strategy game play,Same to zeus. For tehcies,They(Squee,Spleen and spoon)are powerful if you can use them at its best. But,Come to think of it,What is techies if the opponent have gem of true sight or sentry wards,I don't know if dust of appearance can saw the bombs of techies,But is it too obvious that techies is useless if the opponent have those items. Players have common sense,of course they'll buy gem and sentry wards of they noticed that techies is taking an advantage in the game. Not at all times that techies reach the point that he has aghanims,forced staff and the other usefull things for him. Even the Damage,Str,Agi and Int of techies is not enough for a game with veteran players,Even if there are noob opponent,Techies is useless at late game. I have lots of complain and suggestion about some heroes. But i wont tell all of those,cause i know,ice frog wont listen to me. I just wish that techies would have some improvements on this map,Or maybe remaded,..For zeus,I just noticed that zeus is useless too at late game,Not all players can use zeus and to full fill its role. Zeus is useless if you have Smoke of Deceit,(For escaping and dodging warth of god),Hood of Defiance,And Khedgar's Pipe of Insight.
I know ice frog you would understand me even my suggestions and complains are not well explained. Hope you'll listen to me just for these time,I'm not the only one who only thinks and noticed about those things i said,Lots of profetional players noticed those too. If you can see my comment and this gets your attention and you made changes because of this,Please put something that i can know that you've listen at my suggestion,That will be an great honor for me. try make hero that have skill 2 in 1, (in front + behind), when he click stun at in front, it will toss the enemy hero from behind to his front, then it will stun the enemy, but the in front stun need delay 1 sec sumting while wait the toss coming, so, this hero still has delay at his in front stun then the enemy still can dodge the front stun..this hero need skill full to play, like pudge and mirana…then good in gb.

but the behind toss need much long. maybe like pudge hook, 1000 long distance…but still small aoe,so it’s hard to toss. then i combine with mirana skill, hmm..if more far the distance he got toss, the stun will be more long period, max 4 sec and min 1 sec stun, then combine with 2 sec front stun, it will be 6 sec max and 3 sec min. so enemy will scare to chase this hero..but no one will scare with him if at in front coz his front stun has delay, so easy to dogde..XD """""point of this is, the hero got skill that have 2 stun in 1 time and 1 skill..and its more pain if enemy at his behind^^ the toss maybe can be an option""""
1. I think icefrog need to decrease the shark 3rd skill period, maybe not 60 sec at lvl 4...maybe lower then that.
and change shark 1st skill, i think its not so suitable whit shark, maybe can put viper old 1st skill to shark, give attack speed but take more dmg at magic and physical dmg.
and i think troll 2rd skill can be change also..looks like useless. maybe u can put other skill like slowing enemy AS or something else.coz his bash and obvious AS make troll doesn't need his 2rd skill anymore i think...maybe people can say troll 2rd skill can use for harras but for me, troll got range for harras..hmm maybe its got a little bit use when 2v1... because he can give 2rd skill to other enemy when 2v1.
then can u make earthshaker 2rd skill up to 400% coz 300% still like nothing?

Adding items also increases the size, maybe a change of items but not an addition of it.
Balancing of heroes is good, but once it is balance you keep saying to balance it again. stupids,

I'd love to see a hero that can change elements in a terrain. E.g. growing grass in a certain area that decreases the movement speed of units passing by, growing permanent but destructable trees to block certain paths, etcetera.
By all meanings Ice Frog it would be nice if you implemented few new heroes,1-2 new items and some spell visual changes,that would be a great way to end it and start over in Dota 2.keep up the good work
