DotA 6.72 is going to be the next map of IceFrog's DotA series. In the recent versions, there were many new heroes introduced as well as few items. DotA 6.72 is likely to be another balance patch like DotA 6.71. IceFrog may introduce some items and gameplay changes from community suggestions.

Update #2: Meepo Aghanim's Upgrade (13th April 2011):
IceFrog has shared an image of Dota 6.72 Beta on his PlayDota profile page. In this image we can see Geomancer ultimate is having a bug which allows him to carry more than one Aghanim Scepters ultimate upgrades.
Meepo Rebellion PartyNice to see Meepo getting his ultimate buffed in this patch. We hope that others hero do get balanced/buffed as well.

DotA is almost reaching the maximum map size limit of Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne which is 8MB. The last v6.71 was 7.33MB so, it probably means that IceFrog may release couple versions more with new content before DotA 2 goes live.

skills are like phoenix' in a way that it needs to sacrifice HPs. and the ULTI will make it IMBA because if there is dazzle on the team(a very good support), u wont die.

ulti + bkb + ghost scepter = 4sec. invulnerabilty to spells and attack and another + 6 or lower to spells.
ulti + lothars edge = 9sec. invulnerability?
every second counts in a clash man.
instead of adding another strength hero, why add agi type with stun? nerubian assassin is the only agi with stun. but of course, make other skills balance like nerubian assassin. even though he/she is an agi type, his agility gain is not that great and her skills dont increase your agi.(cant explain but i hope you understand.)

hi guys. Im giving my suggestion. In upcoming versions i would like 2 see some new items with effect of the Etheral blade who makes 2x damage of your agility but this time for strength and intelect. New items should make 2x damage of your strength or of your agility. This items can be made by heros like centaur or obsidian destryer, Tinker etc. I hope u luck in this new version!

I want only to change the avatar of the heroes.
I believe a new map should be created. We all got bored playing in the same terrain over and over again. We should be given an option in the beginning of the game to choose a terrain to fight. As for the charachters, a new one could be created who will have maximun attack speed with his ulty, but inflict little dmg.

Im expecting at this map to have more focus this time on visual effect rather than making new items and new heroes,..New effects of skills,new avatars of characters,new avatar of roshan and some changes on buildings at scourge and sentinel. Also new avatars for the secret shops near at the 2nd towers,..Also new juke spots and warding spots like the other guy said,..Some terrain changes will be good too,..But deciding for new terrain at the begging will be needing too much MB,it will reach 8mb if ice frog make it like that,so please dont do that,there are dota themes changer,just download it for the other guy,..A little bit changes on the map will be enough.

best idea would be to put roshan somewhere between sentinel and scourge in the underground if possible. And i like idea for treant protector and silencer to lower CD with scepter, or ogre for 5x dmg. And maybe more int gain for atropos and tinker. Thats it from me.

icefrog need to maitain file size.. i think maybe he remove some old heroes and add new.
this is sad for new map 6.672 if it wont like current one thn i and my team vil quit plying dota dont make map changes....
