- Wards give gold
- Messerschmidt's Reaver is just called Reaver
- Radiance doesn't show sparkles no more =[
- No random base damage (Chaos Knight, what will happen to you?)
- Roshan (Ro-shawn..?) is really tough, but that might be 'cause they fought him ~40mins in.
- Lion looks like a rapist

Here some consequences if you improve graphics:
-not all noobs can play the game unlike dota1.
-You should upgrade your pc.
-when you play online the internet proxy cannot help, it lags the game.
-high on ping.

i think its nice, didnt change much the old dota just small things, like i wanted it to be.
To all who want better graphics go play HON, where its HARD to see the fight with those effects that doesnt let ppl understand how the fight is really going on.
VALVE tries to keep the game identical to the first dota as much as possible, which the game needs stuff such as:
-minimal effects to clearly see whats going on in clashes
-animation cancelling
its not all about the graphics, be more mature and look deeper on the minor stuff
and btw it's still under beta! so expect the game to be more awesome as time flies!
you guys! remember its just the first release and it's still in beta
so better just wait for the full thing :)

I wish they didn't change their model but now their model looks terrible. Atleast make some resemblence to old dota. Just little bit. The only hero i know so far that havent change much is axe. The same red orc with axe. Only more fat

Those of you who hate dota2 for its lack of special effects..SFX affects the visibility of the heroes...and the plain design actually helps the players to focus more on their heroes than on the graphics, which makes the original dota very palyable..HON and LOL have heavy graphics, that's why you can hardly see the heroes during clash...
if you whine about the graphics, then you are not a real player, you are just a watcher!!!!

Game looks awesome. I think the graphichs are awesome, and i dont want them making it more demanding to run. You know why, because not all of us are inbred insecure incable of being socially accepted nerds who spend all of our money on high tech pc gear. I can probably run this at mostly on high without lag at these specs, so stop complaining theres more money in more people, not satisfying a few picky super nerds!!!
