Auroth is a spellcasting heavy hero with a strong aggressive earlygame, which transitions into a more defensive mid to late game. The early power of his skills with one level in them is very strong, combined with his natural high health and mana. These peter off as spell damage becomes less important, and he moves towards a defensive stance abusing his long range abilities and low cooldown AOE spell, as well as his push-punishing ultimate.
His first skill is Arctic Burn. It is a morphing ability that grants him a large attack range for 6 seconds, in addition to a slowing attack and damage per second based on the enemies HP. By all accounts, this skill sounds simply excellent. However, what's not listed in the skill is Auroth's excellent projectile speed. The projectile speed, combined with the additional range and his attack animation, would normally make your attack take up to a full 1.5 or even 2 seconds to reach the enemy. This skill, however, increases your projectile speed greatly when morphing so you can do an excellent amount of initiation. Additionally, he can use it quite effectively outside of initiation, especially when he's sitting in lane and harassing with a steady mana source. His flying mechanic can also aid in chases or escapes, but be wary as there is a huge cooldown on it.
His second skill is Splinter Blast. This ability works as so : you target an enemy unit, the projectile (which is average speed) goes to the enemy, and when it reaches it, it will send projectiles to all nearby enemies, damaging and slowing them. The initial person hit will have no ill effects. This skill has several different uses and is surprisingly easy to hit. The best time it is used is when things are at a standstill (because of you're impressive range of abilities) where you can abuse this 1200 cast range spell to consistently hit the enemy heroes. If you target the ranged creep, you will almost always hit every melee creep and maybe score some extra hits with said heroes. This can be extremely useful for pushing, counterpushing, or simply clearing out creeps due to the 8 second cooldown. In teamfights it's good damage but the slow isn't that big, and you already have an arctic burn slow, so you'll mostly be spamming it just hoping to get some damage on the supports.
His third skill is Cold Embrace. It is a useful support skill with a low manacost and cooldown. This skill is best used like disruption or astral imprisonment to get focus off of a hero. Outside of this though, it has many uses. The low manacost allows you to use it as a very effective simple heal at all stages of the game. Additionally, an interesting thing I saw was someone using cold embrace on creeps being hit by the tower, thereby making them extremely efficient at tanking while we took the tower.
His last skill is Winter's Curse. It is a mana intensive ultimate which you target an enemy, and it is stunned while other units in a small radius are forced to attack it. Do note that many passive skills don't work against attacking allied units, such as Antimage's Manaburn, Gondar's Crit, etc. The damage is good but the main use of this is a really good AOE stun. Since it's on a 90 second cooldown you can fire these off quite often - don't be afraid to use it if it's just one hero, it's still worth it if you get the kill. Lategame you can use this as a very good deterrence to pushing, because heroes would normally be grouped up when attacking towers. This combined with his Splinter Blast and Cold Embrace make him a very difficult hero to push against.

GODLIKE!!!
I just played Auroth with AI...as a pusher and hero hunter...
my item build, I just want to upgrade some of attack speed with MAELSTORM and play safe until I lvl 6...the manapool would be enough just for one time combo...
then I started to make ORCHID for mana regen and some attack speed...
if I get enough killing, I would make one of these first : MJOLNIR/ASSAULT CUIRAS/GUINSOO...
I prefer MJOLNIR to get some attack speed, besides it'd be cheaper than make something new...
just with BoS, MJOLNIR, and ORCHID is enough (if I played it with AI..lol)
my reason why I want to upgrade some of attack speed is because Arctic Burn is just have 6 seconds period...so when I got much attack speed and I used Arctic Burn, well it's such a heavy attack from afar...
why I didn't use somthing like PRESEVERENCE/BLOODSTONE because Auroth already have Gold Embrace...just make sure we can get out of war alive then use some Embrace to heal it up...
... :)
bbloddd
Counter for Auroth: Since his SS curses a unit to get hit by his own turret, allies, allied creeps, and enemy heroes and most of his skills deal heavy damage it would be best to use a tanky hero or a tanky build. to counter the effects of Arctic Burn, HP regen items would be nice and items that enhances move speed such as yasha, bot, or phase boots. Before engaging in team fights make sure Auroth's SS is still in cooldown and take him out first because his other skills can become super annoying especially Cold Embrace, which can make his teammates ultra hard to kill but if he does use this skill your team can pick of the other 3 heroes while Auroth is dead and the other one is in the effects of Cold Embrace, this play's success chances are 3/5 if both teams have the complete 5 heroes, 2/5 if they have more heroes in the clash than yours, and 5/5 if you have more.
best item build anyone?

NICE WATA HERO HHAHA (MAKAPAG ENGLISH LANG USO DITO E)
Support? Nah... this hero right here is a fuckin hitter nuker in late games.
Try this
Powertreads, mjolnir, buriza, linken sphere, lothars and radiance..
Once you complete this you can fuckin nuke a whole team from afar. First skill is imba. Range is farther than sniper and its frost damage is percentage of enemy life plus your base full damage. Absolute killing machine in late games.
